From the assistance and donations of our friends and partners, we were able to launch the first relief operation under Tulong Kalamidad, a project which aims to help families affected by the eruption of Taal Volcano.
Yesterday, January 16, we distributed bags of biscuits and coffee, galloons of drinking water, sack of rice, boxes of apples, sacks of clothes, packs of napkins and diapers, boxes of detergent soap, and butane stoves with refills to evacuation centers in Ibaan and Lipa City. These donations helped 106 families in Ibaan Central Elementary School, 143 families in Inosloban Elementar and High School, 70 families in Plaridel Elementary School, and 207 families in Tambo Elementary School.
