Tangggol Kalikasan Inc. in their joint collaboration with Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) hold Mini Ahon’s First Wave at Cabusap, Camarines Norte on December 04-05 2020

100 families of fishermen located in Cabusap, Camarines Norte were given boat repair kits which includes marine plywood, copper nails and epoxy to rebuild their fishing boats on December 4 and 5, during Mini Ahon's First Wave conducted by Tanggol Kalikasan Inc., in partnership with Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). Tanggol Kalikasan Inc.'s Mini Ahon initiative aims to provide basic materials for the repairs of fishing boats which were damaged during the recent typhoon Ulyssess to help fishers get back on their feet and return to their livelihoods.

Mini Ahon will be having its Second Wave, the distribution will continue in various sites of Lagunoy Gulf. In Real Quezon, boat repair kits are all in place and awaiting good weather to cross Polilio Island. Tanggol Kalikasan aims to rebuild the fishing community in this long lasting and sustainable project with the help and support from the donations of our good hearted Kababayan and partners.
