Quezon, and Camarines Norte, brought together mayors, vice mayors, Sangguniang Bayan members, and LGU representatives from the coastal communities of Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and other coastal LGUs from Quezon and Camarines Norte who cannot join on batch 1. The event was held at the Department of Agriculture—Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Vessel Monitoring Center, Department of Environment  and Natural Resources - Wildlife Rescue Center in Quezon City, and at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center - Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) in Iloilo and Guimaras, 

The activity featured sessions on:

  1. Resource Management Approaches for the Terrestrial Ecosystems (Forestry, wildlife & Watershed Management) presented by Dr. RB J. GALLEGO, IEG Coordinator from Aurora State College of Technology.
  2. Landscape and Ecosystem Based Approach for Integrating land and Resource Use management in LGU Planning presented by For. ERNIE URIZA, EnP. ,GIS Specialist, Conservation International -Ph
  3. Mangrove and Beach Forest Ecosystem Management: Discussing models, best practices, and resource valuation presented  by For. Mary Jane Marigmen, IEG faculty from Aurora State College Technology.
  4. Ecosystem Approach to  Fisheries Management & Fisheries Development Programs presented by DR. EMMA L. BALLAD, Sr. Fishing Regulations Officer/OIC, FMR Section, RFO 2, DA-BFAR, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan 
  5. Bridging Strong Leadership for the Management of the Critical Ecosystem presented by HON. ALFREDO M. CORO, Municipal Mayor of Del Carmen, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte
