Palanan Isabela - In a shared commitment to protect Palanan’s rich natural resources, Tanggol Kalikasan, in partnership with the Isabela State University – Institute of Environmental Governance (IEG), successfully conducted the Environmental Law Enforcement Training last August 13–15, 2025 at the Senior Citizen’s Hall in Dicabisagan West, Palanan, Isabela.

The training aimed to strengthen local enforcement capacities by providing essential knowledge and practical skills on environmental governance. Topics included key environmental laws and policies; legal procedures in enforcement and apprehension; roles and responsibilities of local enforcement units and inter-agency coordination and community engagement

This activity forms part of the Environmental Justice Sector Reform Project Phase 3 (EJSRP3), a continuing initiative implemented by Tanggol Kalikasan, with support from the U.S. Department of State – Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) and the U.S. Department of the Interior – International Technical Assistance Program (ITAP).
